“Membership in CAPCA has allowed many of us to share issues impacting all of us working in cancer. Some examples are discussions around emerging drug shortages and how we clinically will manage therapeutic alternatives in a timely manner. CAPCA also assisted in meeting the implementation needs for new cancer drug listings until a new CADTH process has come in as of July l, 2019.  These two are the most current examples but there are many more - such as the position paper on oral chemotherapy safety, and the components of an electronic system for cancer medication safety. CAPCA is a forum to share relevant issues of shared concern in a productive forward action manner.”
