In 2024, the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC) and the Canadian Cancer Society published a Pan-Canadian Cancer Data Strategy to help strengthen how cancer data are collected, shared, and used across Canada.
As part of this work, the Canadian Partnership for Quality Radiotherapy (CPQR), a standing committee of CAPCA, is working with the Canadian Artificial Intelligence & Data in Radiotherapy Alliance (CADRA) and early adopters in Ontario and Nova Scotia to implement two radiation therapy data standards: TG-263 and Operational Ontology for Oncology (O3). These standards are being adopted to help improve consistency in radiotherapy data and support broader implementation across Canadian jurisdictions.
