Webinar recording: a June 2026 update on radiotherapy data harmonization

An initiative of the pan-Canadian Cancer Data Strategy, this June 2026 webinar hosted by the Canadian Partnership for Quality Radiotherapy (CPQR), a standing committee of CAPCA, provides an update on the pan-Canadian Radiotherapy Data Harmonization Project, covering the latest developments since the first session in June 2025. Topics include:

  • Updates on emerging pan-Canadian and international priorities related to RT data harmonization
  • Progress on Cancer Data Strategy initiatives, including key highlights and achievements
  • How the data strategy supports future system performance reporting, quality improvement and clinical initiatives
  • Key implementation considerations and common barriers related to adopting TG-263 and O-3
  • Current initiatives and jurisdictional experiences in RT data standardization
  • Available tools, resources and collaborative supports to help advance harmonization efforts within jurisdictions

The webinar is a valuable resource for radiotherapy providers, cancer system leaders and administrators, as well as others working to strengthen data linkages and support innovation in data-driven cancer care across Canada.

Thank you to Ontario Health – Cancer Care Ontario, Nova Scotia Health Authority Cancer Program, the Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists, the Canadian Artificial Intelligence & Data in Radiotherapy Alliance (CADRA), and the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer for collaborating with CAPCA and CPQR on this initiative.
