This document provides guidance for radiation treatment programs on how to implement and use common nomenclature related to clinical, dosimetric, and treatment data.

Elements included in the document complement key quality indicators contained within the CPQR Quality Assurance Guidelines for Canadian Radiation Treatment Programs and are designed to benefit the care of individual patients and improve quality and system performance through harmonized care and improvements to the care process.

This document is one in a suite of guideline documents created by the CPQR. When considered together, these documents address all aspects of quality and safety related to radiation treatment delivery.
