This evidence brief draws on pan-Canadian and international evidence to identify high-value innovations in cancer care — and the workforce, policy, and system conditions needed to sustain and scale them. It is intended to support cancer programs, ministries of health, and system partners, with a deliberate focus on workforce capacity, equity, and long-term sustainability.

The brief is informed by a comprehensive program of health services and policy research, with financial support from with financial support from the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer (CPAC) and Health Canada. The work was conducted in close collaboration with Dalhousie University, BC Cancer, and Simon Fraser University, and CancerCare Manitoba with active engagement from provincial cancer agencies and system leaders across Canada.
