CPQR and COMP are committed to supporting high-quality, safe radiotherapy in Canada. Since 2011 they have worked with the medical physics community to develop a suite of Technical Quality Control Guidelines to help radiotherapy centres ensure the minimum performance and safety standards of treatment equipment and technologies. The full suite of TQC Guidelines is available online.

To help radiotherapy programs monitor their adherence to these guidelines, CPQR offers a set of self-audit tools.

The Brachytherapy Remote Afterloaders guideline is available here. It is recommended to have it available throughout the self-assessment.
